Exodus 20;18,19     And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
How many people today have the same reaction to the Father. They find somebody and tell them "You go and hear God for me" when God wants to have a relationship with His children. There is a price to pay if you are to have a relationship with God and it is much like anything in His creation including your relationships with people. You get out of it what you invest in it, nobody gets something for nothing except birth, and you will find time for those things that are important to you. Without fail what you spend your time on proves to everyone what is important to you. Why spend it on things that cannot last beyond the grave?  I once said "Lord i want more of You" and He answered "You have as much of Me as I have of you".
