i was playing a game of "free cell" and it didn't look good. There were only 2 spaces left to put cards and no obvious moves to make. Most of the aces were buried and it seemed impossible that this game would be a winner. The were two choices to make, either give up, or keep making the moves i could all the while studying for the best path to victory, i choose the latter. For several minutes it was really slow with a lot of stopping and studying the next move, it seemed to take forever! Finally though there was a breakthrough and within a few moves it went from looking like it was impossible to win to being impossible to lose.
Maybe you are frustrated with the pace of your growth in this new life and you want to be done today, or yesterday. Maybe you think that you will never learn all the heavenly things that the Spirit is teaching you and you are about ready to give up. For me, i get frustrated with how long it takes me to fully apply the things He is teaching me and it seems that as soon as i get it right, He teaches me something else to stretch me a little more. When i look at all this through forever eyes, i wouldn't have it any other way.
We only get so many days in this form to learn the lessons of eternity and i personally believe that we need to learn as much as we can while we are here, so let Him stretch you and don't give up. Be patient with Him, you, and the people around you. He knows what He is doing and He ALWAYS has what is best for you in mind, which often is different that what you THINK is best for you. Try to see things with eternity in mind and try to act with God the way you would have your children act with you. It may look impossible from where you are now but you must never give up, there are few lessons than you can learn that will serve you better than this. Everything that isn't a part of the kingdom of God is against your success but Jesus said " And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.."   Matthew 24:12 and 13.
God bless,
